A Nigerian court sentenced 'Professor' Jide Josiah Jisos to six months in prison for impersonating his daughter during the 2019 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). Caught by Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) officials while posing as an NGO representative, Jisos confessed he had no NGO ties and was there to help his daughter. He can alternatively pay a N100,000 fine. The case underscores efforts to uphold examination integrity in Nigeria.
