Kia has launched its first ute, the Tasman, in Australia, targeting the farm and small business market. It features a 2.2-liter diesel engine, eight-speed automatic transmission, and accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 10.4 seconds. Kia aims to capture 10% of the market within its first year. The Tasman will debut in Korea in early 2025 before arriving in Australia. Meanwhile, Toyota and BHP are testing a battery-electric HiLux prototype, and Isuzu has introduced the D-MAX BLADE.
