Harbin is expanding its Ice-Snow World park ahead of the 2025 Asian Winter Games.

Harbin, the capital of Heilongjiang Province in northeast China, is expanding its Ice-Snow World theme park in anticipation of the ninth Asian Winter Games in February 2025. The park will grow from 810,000 to one million square meters, making it one of the largest ice-and-snow parks globally. It will utilize 300,000 cubic meters of ice and snow for sculptures, up from 250,000 cubic meters, with over 1,500 athletes from 34 countries already registered for the games.
