Romanchuk finished in 1 hour, 36 minutes, and 31 seconds, while Susannah Scaroni took the women's title with a time of 1 hour, 48 minutes, and 5 seconds. This marked the first time both wheelchair events were won by American athletes in the race's history. Scaroni defeated Tatyana McFadden by over 10 minutes.
