A Deloitte study shows Australians are spending more on streaming services while watching less media overall, averaging 44 hours weekly. Despite a rise in subscriptions to 3.3 per household and increased spending to $63 a month, viewership has decreased, particularly among Gen Z, whose consumption has dropped by 25%. Trust in traditional media remains high, with only 28% viewing AI-generated content as credible. Social media usage has also declined, with calls for age restrictions.
