OPAL Fuels Inc. has launched operations at its renewable natural gas facility in Polk County, Florida, its second in the state. The facility, which processes biogas from the local landfill, has a capacity of about 1.1 million MMBtu of RNG annually. This RNG will primarily replace diesel in transportation, aiming to lower costs and reduce greenhouse gas emissions significantly. The initiative supports OPAL's goal of providing sustainable fuel solutions.
