The Nigerian Copyright Commission (NCC) conducted a raid in Lagos' Ajegunle area, seizing pirated books valued at about ₦20 million. Led by Charles Amudipe, the operation targeted five suspected outlets and involved security personnel. The NCC emphasized its zero-tolerance policy on copyright infringement and warned that those involved in piracy would face legal consequences. The commission has increased enforcement efforts against piracy over the past five years.
