102-year-old NZ athletics coach Arch Jelley receives Life Membership for his lifetime contributions.

Arch Jelley, a 102-year-old legendary athletics coach from New Zealand, received a Life Membership from Athletics New Zealand for his significant contributions to the sport. Celebrated at a ceremony in Auckland, Jelley’s coaching career began in 1959 and inspired many athletes, including Sir John Walker, who won gold at the 1976 Olympics. He also championed opportunities for female athletes, earning an OBE and induction into the Coaches Hall of Fame for his impact.
