A Nigerian court rejected evidence in former Minister Hadi Sirika's trial for alleged corruption.

A Nigerian court has dismissed a document submitted by former Aviation Minister Hadi Sirika in his ongoing trial for alleged abuse of office and contract fraud. Sirika, his daughter Fatima, and associates are accused of favoring a company linked to them in contract awards. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) cites violations of corruption laws. The court ruled the document inadmissible due to lack of established connection with the witness. The trial resumes on November 15.
