In Batemans Bay, NSW, a young kangaroo was rescued from the Clyde River by probationary constable Tevita Tuivaga and fisherman Cam Grindrod. The kangaroo was struggling in shark-infested waters when the duo flagged down a fishing boat to assist. They carefully held the animal to calm it and guided it to a quiet bank, where it eventually hopped ashore, panting and seemingly unaware of the rescue efforts made by its human saviors.
