The University of Florida has launched the Mobile Cancer Screening Connector, a 40-foot bus designed to provide vital cancer screenings, including 3D mammograms, in North Central Florida. Targeting rural and underserved communities, it aims to improve access to healthcare services. Funded by a $1.5 million grant, the mobile unit will also offer HPV vaccinations and smoking cessation resources, partnering with local organizations to reach those in need.
