Big Buddy launches "Big Buddy Group" program in NZ to address mental health and mentor shortage among 14-17 year old boys.

Big Buddy, a New Zealand mentoring organization, has launched the "Big Buddy Group" program to assist boys aged 14 to 17. This initiative features eight-week peer group sessions with adult mentors, addressing the shortage of positive male role models and rising mental health issues among teens. With over 130 boys on a waiting list, the program aims to foster confidence and decision-making skills. Future expansions are planned for Tauranga and Hamilton.
