Apple plans to introduce its own Wi-Fi 7 chips starting with the iPhone 17 and other devices in late 2025, moving away from third-party supplier Broadcom. This transition, aimed at reducing costs and enhancing integration within Apple's ecosystem, is expected to extend to nearly all products within three years. The chips will be manufactured by TSMC.
