35-yr-old drunk driver struck patrol car while deputy was clearing road, fled but was apprehended; faces 3rd OWI charge, deputy unharmed.

An Outagamie County Sheriff's deputy, Brent Baxter, narrowly avoided injury when an alleged drunk driver struck his patrol vehicle while he was clearing a deer carcass from County Highway CE in Buchanan. The driver, 35-year-old Christopher Kitchenakow, hit the squad car, pushing it 75 feet, and attempted to flee but was apprehended by Baxter. Kitchenakow faces charges for his third offense of operating while intoxicated. The patrol car was totaled, but the deputy was unharmed.
