Travis Plant, a 34-year-old off-duty RCMP officer, has been charged with impaired driving following a crash on the Trans-Canada Highway near Glovertown, Newfoundland and Labrador. Police responded to the incident on Sunday and found Plant failed a roadside breath test. His driver's license has been suspended and his vehicle impounded. He faces two charges related to impaired operation and is scheduled to appear in court on January 14.
