On October 24, 24-year-old Jaskaran Lidder from the Lower Mainland was arrested in Kelowna for allegedly fleeing police while driving dangerously in a black Ford Escape. During the chase, he narrowly missed hitting an elderly woman and her dog. Lidder faces charges of flight from a peace officer and dangerous operation of a vehicle, with a court appearance scheduled for October 29. Witnesses are urged to contact Kelowna RCMP at 250-762-3300.
