Tim "Herb" Alexander has abruptly left Primus, marking the end of his third tenure with the band. He informed them via email on October 17, citing a loss of passion for playing. The band, currently active with upcoming shows, expressed shock at his departure. Primus will proceed with two December concerts featuring members of Holy Mackerel and Frog Brigade, and plans to find a new drummer for their 2025 North American tour, with Danny Carey from Tool filling in for a festival performance.
