An explosion outside Central French Immersion Public School in Grimsby, Ontario, injured a female staff member, who was hospitalized with minor injuries. The incident occurred around 1:30 p.m. near an outdoor garbage bin. The school enacted a "Lock and Learn" protocol, relocating students, while nearby daycare attendees were also evacuated. The Niagara Regional Police have called in an explosives unit to investigate, and several roads in the area are closed.
