Illinois launches "Help Stop Hate" for confidential reporting of hate crimes and bias incidents.

Illinois has launched "Help Stop Hate," a confidential service for reporting hate crimes, bias, and harassment. Initiated by Governor JB Pritzker, the program aims to address rising hate incidents, including a record 303 reports in Chicago last year. Funded by a $1.1 million DOJ grant, it operates independently of law enforcement and offers resources in seven languages. Individuals can report anonymously via phone or online at ILStopHate.org.
