The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has returned properties valued at ₹185.13 crore from Surya Pharmaceuticals Ltd. to a bank consortium led by SBI, following an investigation into alleged bank loan fraud that caused losses of approximately ₹828.50 crore. The company, along with directors Rajiv and Alka Goyal, used fake documents to secure loans. The Goyals fled the country in 2017 and were declared proclaimed offenders.
