A shooting near Loyola University in Chicago on Monday injured two men, aged 24 and 28, following a verbal altercation with a suspect. The incident occurred around 2:09 p.m. on West Loyola Avenue. Both victims were hospitalized with gunshot wounds; the suspect was apprehended shortly after, possessing a valid Firearm Owners Identification Card and concealed carry license. Police recovered a firearm at the scene, and the investigation is ongoing.
