On October 21, a Washington State University student was assaulted and choked unconscious in a campus parking lot near Beasley Coliseum. The victim, who suspects she was sexually assaulted, could not identify her attacker. WSU police have increased patrols in response and are investigating the incident. They urge anyone with information to contact them at (509) 335-8548 while addressing unsubstantiated rumors of a serial rapist on campus.
