A High Court trial in Christchurch is underway for Tingjun Cao, accused of murdering real estate agent Yanfei Bao, who disappeared on July 19, 2023. Witness Jason Saunders testified to seeing a Nissan car matching Bao's description driving erratically that evening. The Crown claims Cao stabbed Bao multiple times and concealed her body, found over a year later. The trial started on October 21 and is expected to last six weeks.
