Former Central Bank of Nigeria Governor Godwin Emefiele is on trial for alleged abuse of office and money laundering involving $4.5 billion and N2.8 billion. Key witness Monday Osazuwa testified that Emefiele directed him not to keep records of over $3 million he collected on his behalf. Emefiele faces 23 charges, including accepting bribes and corruption, and both he and co-defendant Henry Isioma-Omoile have pleaded not guilty.
