Chinese female spaceflight engineer Wang Haoze joins Shenzhou-19 mission, her first spaceflight, to support China's lunar goals.

Wang Haoze, China's only female spaceflight engineer, will join two other astronauts for the Shenzhou-19 mission to the Tiangong space station, launching from Jiuquan on April 20 at 4:27 am local time. This mission marks Wang's first spaceflight, making her the third Chinese woman in a crewed mission. The crew will conduct experiments aimed at supporting China's goal of sending astronauts to the Moon by 2030 and establishing a lunar base.
