On October 25, RCMP officers in British Columbia responded to two bear incidents: one in Warfield, where a bear tried to break into a vehicle, and another in Trail, where a bear entered a home, prompting residents to lock themselves in. Sgt. Mike Wicentowich highlighted the importance of removing food attractants to prevent such conflicts. The Trail RCMP is collaborating with the BC Conservation Officer Service to enhance wildlife conflict reduction efforts in the area.
