Archbishops Dolan and Gómez wager on World Series results for charity donations to "Baseball Unites."
New York Archbishop Timothy Dolan and Los Angeles Archbishop José Gómez have made a friendly wager on the World Series between the Yankees and Dodgers, with bagels and donuts at stake. They are also promoting donations to "Baseball Unites," which will support the John Cardinal O'Connor School in New York and the Archdiocese of Los Angeles' Catholic Education Foundation.
