Aquis Exchange PLC and Cboe Europe are launching a joint venture named SimpliCT to pursue the role of the EU's equity consolidated tape (CT) provider. Based in the Netherlands, SimpliCT aims to deliver a reliable and cost-effective overview of market activity, enhancing EU equity market competitiveness. This initiative follows the European Commission's mandate for a consolidated tape, with the selection process set to begin in June 2025.
