Major David "Harry" Hood, a 55-year-old reservist from Scotland, has set a record as the oldest participant to complete NATO's Exercise Cambrian Patrol. The event involves a 60km course through the Brecon Beacons, completed in under 48 hours while carrying 35kg packs. Hood, alongside his son Corporal Declan Hood, faced various challenges, including river crossings. This marked Hood's second completion of the challenge, with teamwork and camaraderie playing a crucial role in their success.
