Julie Terwey, a 60-year-old woman from South Haven, Minnesota, was killed on Saturday morning after her vehicle struck a deer and stopped in the center lane of Interstate 94 near Maple Grove. She was then rear-ended by another vehicle driven by 32-year-old Jordan Land from Becker, who sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to North Memorial Hospital. The accident occurred around 5:30 a.m. and did not involve alcohol.
