Joshua Ballard, a 41-year-old from Texas, died in a motorcycle accident on Interstate 295 in Henrico County, Virginia, on Saturday. Riding a 2016 Harley Davidson with a 26-year-old female passenger from Colorado, Ballard lost control after hitting an exposed lip between lanes from road work. Both were wearing helmets; Ballard suffered fatal injuries, while the passenger sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Virginia State Police are investigating.
