James R. Rouse, 56, died in a single-vehicle crash on Saturday evening in Limestone County, Alabama. Driving a 1993 Chevrolet C1500, he left the road on Salem Minor Hill Road, struck a ditch, overturned, and hit a utility pole. Rouse was not wearing a seatbelt and was taken to Athens Limestone Hospital, where he later died from his injuries. The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency is investigating the accident.
