On October 26, a person was struck by a train at Liverpool Lime Street Station, leading to the suspension of all Wirral train services for approximately six hours. Emergency services responded, and the individual was airlifted to the hospital, currently in stable condition with non-life-threatening injuries. The British Transport Police confirmed the incident is not suspicious. Rail replacement buses were implemented for disrupted services.
