Gerry Anderson, posthumously honored with an Outstanding Contribution to Music award at the Northern Ireland Music Prize.

Gerry Anderson, the late broadcaster and musician from Derry, will receive a posthumous Outstanding Contribution to Music award at the Northern Ireland Music Prize on November 13th in Belfast. The event, organized by The Oh Yeah Music Centre and IMRO, will also introduce the Gerry Anderson Music Bursary, which offers £3,000 to support emerging artists. Anderson, who passed away in 2014, was celebrated for his dedication to music throughout his 30-year career.
