Former RG Kar College principal, Sandip Ghosh, files bail in Calcutta High Court amid CBI probe into alleged financial misconduct related to a junior doctor's rape-murder case.

Sandip Ghosh, former Principal of RG Kar Medical College & Hospital, has filed a bail petition in the Calcutta High Court amid a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe into alleged financial misconduct and evidence tampering related to the rape and murder of a junior doctor. Ghosh, currently in custody, is joined by former police officer Abhijit Mondal in the investigation. The West Bengal Junior Doctors' Front has submitted documents indicating misappropriation during Ghosh's tenure.
