Danske and Sydbank initiate DKK 6.7 billion share buyback programs by January 31, 2025, each complying with EU regulations.
Danske Bank has initiated a share buyback program worth DKK 5.5 billion (approx. EUR 732 million), set to last until January 31, 2025. In its fourth week, it purchased 518,975 shares, bringing its total to 2.44% of its share capital. Separately, Sydbank launched a DKK 1.2 billion buyback program, also ending January 31, 2025, and bought 74,000 shares, increasing its holdings to 4.70% of its share capital. Both programs comply with EU regulations.
