Bangladesh's Supreme Court upholds stay on Sohel Rana's bail in Rana Plaza collapse case.
The Appellate Division of Bangladesh's Supreme Court has upheld a stay on the bail of Sohel Rana, owner of the Rana Plaza, which collapsed in 2013 and killed over 1,100 people. Although the High Court had granted him temporary bail, the Supreme Court has suspended it, continuing legal proceedings. The case will be reviewed in the apex court within two months. Rana was arrested in 2013 while attempting to flee to India.
