Air France flight AF-345, en route from Montreal to Paris, diverted to Shannon Airport, Ireland, early Friday due to a medical emergency involving a suspected heart attack in a male passenger in his 60s. The crew alerted air traffic control and received clearance to land. Upon arrival, paramedics assisted the passenger, who was taken to University Hospital Limerick. The flight resumed to Paris later that morning. This is the second diversion to Shannon for a medical emergency this year.
