Police in Afghanistan's Faryab province seized a DSHK anti-aircraft gun, an assault rifle, a mortar, walkie-talkies, and various ammunition in the Almar district. This is part of the Afghan caretaker government's initiative to collect thousands of arms and military equipment for security since taking office in August 2021. Authorities have called on individuals to return any illegally held weapons.
