During the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in Samoa, Trinidad and Tobago's Prime Minister Dr. Keith Rowley harshly criticized the opposition United National Congress (UNC), calling its leaders "the most destructive, unpatriotic louts amongst us." His comments were reportedly triggered by a photo of Indian businessman Naveen Jindal, chancellor of OP Jindal Global University, included in a Commonwealth report.
