The Tennessee Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal hit-and-run involving a pedestrian that occurred early Saturday in Loretto, Lawrence County, on U.S. Highway 43. The vehicle, believed to be a silver or white 2000-2010 Ford Ranger or Mazda extended cab pickup with possible front-end damage, was last seen heading north toward Lawrenceburg.
