A memorial quilt honoring victims of Northern Ireland's Troubles, including police officers William Finlay and James Ferguson, was unveiled at Down Cathedral. Finlay, 55, and Ferguson, 53, were killed on October 6, 1983, while on patrol, leaving behind widows and three children each. Organized by the South East Fermanagh Foundation, the quilt commemorates 109 victims. The officers' daughters spoke at the service, reflecting on the enduring impact of their fathers' deaths.
