A man died from accidental drowning in the Indian River near Merritt Island on Friday, according to the Brevard County Sheriff's Office. His body was discovered around 3:40 p.m. near State Road 528, mile marker 47. The sheriff's office is investigating the incident, but the victim's identity has not been disclosed.
