The Miami exhibition "Sanctuary: Our Sacred Place," at HistoryMiami Museum, showcases Haitian-American religious traditions, aiming to dispel myths about vodou, santeria, and ifa practices rooted in West Africa's Yoruba culture. Photographer Woosler Delisfort's nearly 150 images document various ceremonies, including Catholic San Lazaro Day and Ethiopian Orthodox Holy Week. The project celebrates and preserves these spiritual practices for future generations amidst rising misinformation.
