Burbank officer shot at stolen van driver during high-risk traffic stop, suspect arrested.

A suspect was arrested after a Burbank police officer shot at the driver of a stolen Ford Econoline van during a high-risk traffic stop early Saturday. The incident began around 1 a.m. when the stolen vehicle was located. The driver, the sole occupant, sustained minor injuries and was hospitalized. The officer involved has been placed on administrative leave as the police department and Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office investigate the incident.
