A 60-year-old pedestrian was killed on October 24, 2024, after being struck by a semi-truck on State Highway 25 in Rupert, Idaho. The truck driver, a 37-year-old from Burley, attempted to swerve to avoid the pedestrian, but the second trailer struck him. The westbound lanes were closed for two hours while emergency responders worked at the scene. The Idaho State Police is investigating the crash.
