Rwanda hosts African School of Governance in 2025, founded by Kagame and Desalegn, offering master's and executive programs supported by Mastercard Foundation to enhance African governance.

Rwanda will host the African School of Governance (ASG), founded by President Paul Kagame and former Ethiopian Prime Minister Hailemariam Desalegn, to enhance governance in Africa through public policy education. Kingsley Moghalu has been appointed as the inaugural president. Set to open in September 2025, ASG will offer master's and executive programs, supported by the Mastercard Foundation, aiming to create work opportunities for 30 million young Africans by 2030.
