Ghana's Education Minister accuses NDC of introducing a $51M CSE curriculum with LGBTQ content.
Ghana's Education Minister, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, has accused the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) of initiating a Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) curriculum, supported by $51 million in funding from 2012. He claims the curriculum included LGBTQ content and was implemented across schools. Former Deputy Minister Okudzeto Ablakwa has disputed these claims, challenging Prempeh to provide evidence of a pro-LGBTQ curriculum. CSE remains a contentious topic in Ghana.
