Dallas County has extended early voting hours in response to high turnout and long lines caused by electronic poll book issues. The Commissioners Court approved new hours from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, while regular hours will remain 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. for the rest of the week. Elections Administrator Heider Garcia emphasized the need to ensure voters have adequate time to cast their ballots during this critical election period.
