CBI transfers Assamese actress, husband, and alleged scam leader to Guwahati for Rs 2,200 crore online trading scam court proceedings.

Assamese actress Sumi Borah, her husband Tarkik Borah, and alleged scam leader Bishal Phukan were transferred to Guwahati by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) for court proceedings related to a Rs 2,200 crore online trading scam. The Assam government has referred 41 cases to the CBI for investigation. The scam was revealed after Phukan's arrest in September, with the CBI set to interrogate the accused for further details.
